Easy Sudoku
Easy puzzles are ideal for first-time players and relaxed daily practice. More givens make the next logical move easier to spot without guessing.
Who Easy is for
Choose Easy while learning the rules, returning after a break, or building a reliable scanning routine.
Techniques to practise
Start with naked singles and hidden singles, then notice how a completed digit in one box limits its positions in neighboring rows and columns.
A reliable solving routine
Scan one digit from 1 to 9 across the whole grid, then inspect the most complete rows, columns and boxes. After every placement, rescan all three affected units.
Common mistake
Do not place a digit simply because it looks likely. Confirm that every other candidate is excluded by the row, column or box.
When to move up
Try Medium when you can finish Easy grids accurately with few hints and can explain why each placed digit is forced.
